Gingerbread men

A few days before Christmas I went on a baking spree and made 6 batches of homemade cookies, and homemade peppermint bark as well. I always have great intentions to do a lot of baking during the holidays, but some how it always falls by the wayside in lieu of all the present wrapping, cleaning, and cooking I have to do. But this year, I was determined to get it in, and I did! I even made cookies for the neighbors, and a giant cookie platter for Christmas day!! In this mix of cookies I made some gingerbread men for Will to decorate. Well, the thing about 2 year olds is that they don't always follow directions, and when you give them icing and candy to decorate something with... be prepared for them to start licking and eating everything they see. And of course, that's exactly what happened when I gave everything to Will to decorate with. Will managed to make two gingerbread men before he lost interest and took a giant bite out of one of them. He enjoyed the cookie so much I didn't have the heart to make him stop eating it to decorate again. My little boy had a very fun snack... and I don't think anyone noticed that the gingerbread men weren't decorated. :)

This is what happens when I walk away for a second to grab more icing
