Christmas Eve

Christmas Eve was so exciting for us this year. Will knew exactly what was happening that night, and talked about how Santa was going to come all day long. As his bedtime approached, we hung out and watched a Christmas movie on tv, went up for a bath, and dressed him in his brand new (just for Santa) Christmas PJ's. Then we came downstairs and put out our cookies and milk for Santa Claus. He was so cute and kept putting cookies on the plate because he wanted to make sure that Santa had enough of a snack. After we put him in his crib for bed, he must have stayed up talking and singing carols for about another 2 hours before he finally went to sleep that night. I think he might have been just a little bit excited for Christmas morning!

Aaron showing Will how cool the lights look from underneath the tree. I love having a husband who tries to make everything magical and fun for his son :)

I know this is blurry, but you can still see the look of wonder on his face as he looks at the lights

Our stockings hung with care...

Santa's cookies and milk... Will even chose the mug the milk went in

We had to leave the red bell out as well... Will started carrying it around after we watched Polar Express

Our family! We were able to get him to smile by putting the camera on a 10 second delay... it beeps a bunch of times then takes the picture and he thought that was the coolest thing in the world... if only I had known that while we were attempting Christmas card pictures a month ago...
