Christmas afternoon

Around lunchtime the entire family came over to celebrate Christmas. We were all supposed to cut back this year... but judging by the fact that you could barely even walk in the living room because of all the gifts, I don't think that happened. Will got a ton of awesome stuff from everyone! Uncle Chris bought him a soccer goal, which is going to come in very useful this summer when we can play outside. Will also got a brand new kids table with what will soon be 6 chairs... it is currently the nicest piece of furniture on our main level being that it is from potterybarn kids. I am very tempted to put it in the middle of our dining room until we get a full size adult table :). He also received a train table with two trundles underneath that will hopefully hide a lot of the toys that are currently in our living room. One of his very favorite toys was his new keyboard with microphone. He loves singing into that thing and making music, and then giggling at himself. Aaron and I were also very spoiled receiving a new point and shoot camera that does HDmovies, a new sonicare toothbrush, lawn care stuff, and tons of new clothes. Will was very excited to give his gifts this year since he handmade them himself... Will gave each of his grandparents their very own plate with his hand prints on them. He was very proud of his gifts, and after each was opened he went around and put his little hands over the hand prints on the plates... such a cute little man!

What a wonderful Christmas we all had! I can't wait to see his reaction next year to the tree, Santa, and all the presents. He'll actually get it get it next year and I have a feeling it's going to be even more fun than this year was!

Helping Uncle Chris put together his soccer goal (I don't think Chris is ever going to buy him something that needs to be put together again)

Putting his hands on all the hand prints

Bill laughing at his pine cone gift... back story with this one... the first year I was with Aaron we went to exchange presents with his parents and I am known for putting cinnamon scented pine cones in gift bags... and Bill thought when he pulled the pine cone out of his bag that that was the gift I was giving him and he made a big deal about it and told me he'd put it on his desk at work... needless to say we all laughed hysterically and told him to keep looking in the bag because the real present was a book I had bought him. So this year to be funny, I made him an entire bag of just pine cones as a joke.
