Christmas morning

Aaron, Will, Dublin, and I had a wonderful Christmas morning! We woke up, got ready, and went downstairs to open our presents from each other and from Santa. Will was a little baffled when he walked downstairs since the night before there had been nothing under the tree, but now there were a ton of gifts there to open. He was so cute and when we told him he should open his stocking first he called it his "boot", but he got right down to the business of opening. Of course at this age, each thing he opens he has to play with, so it took us an extra long time (with many breaks) to get everything opened. He received a remote control car (which he's scared of), lots of basketballs to replace the one the dog ate a few months ago, bubbles, and new cup, a few hulk toys (those were his favorite), many puzzles, a thomas the train aquadoodle, and of course, his big moon bounce we had in the basement. Aaron and I exchanged stockings and he bought me my very first Ipod! It's so cute, it's a new orange nano, and I can't wait to put songs on it and use it for the first time. I got Aaron a new ihome clock for the bedroom and a bunch of other small stuff. Will made Aaron a ceramic penguin that he painted at the pottery place, and Will got me a really cute book for us to read together. Needless to say, we were all a little spoiled that morning... and to think, that was just the beginning, we still had the afternoon to celebrate with family!

This is one of my favorite parts of the holiday season... getting Christmas cards! I love seeing all the kids and family pictures! We got so many this year I could barely fit them all up there!
