Sick baby

This past Monday morning Will woke up with his very first stomach virus ever. We have been very fortunate so far in that Will has really never had more than a few colds here and there over his 20 months of life. Monday morning though we were not so fortunate and when I went to get Will from his crib, I found that he had thrown up all over everything in his crib... and he continued to get sick every 15 minutes for the next couple of hours. I felt so bad for him, all he wanted to do was cuddle in the rocking chair with me, and he ended up falling asleep in my arms around 10:30 and taking a quick cat nap before we were up and sick again. He got a little better in the afternoon and early evening so we gave him a little bit to eat... which he wasn't able to keep down unfortunately (yes, he threw up all over me). Yesterday (Tuesday) was a little better, but he was still out of it and just kind of wanted to lay around and watch Veggitales with me or sleep. He was able to keep some bland food, and pedialyte down though so that was good. We were hoping when he woke up this morning he'd be back to the same old Will, but he is still looking ragged and tired... but is eating much better today. The little guy woke up at 7 this morning, played a little in our room, then crawled in bed with us and went back to sleep... I put him in his crib and he slept until about 11:30. He had some toast and grapes when he woke up, part of my lunch, and then demanded more food around 1:30 to which I made him half a grilled cheese sandwich that he gobbled down... and now he's back napping again! Don't get me wrong, this whole being sick thing really does suck (I did 6 loads of laundry on Monday), but I am kind of enjoying all the sleeping and cuddling he's been doing. I know it's selfish... but it'd be nice to have just one more day of cuddling and laying around before he goes back to his active rambunctious self.
