A few months ago I wrote about a family who lost everything in a house fire... including their two young daughters. Today would have been one of the daughter's 7th birthday... so in honor of Sophie's birthday, her amazing mom created 7 acts of kindness for Sophie. All over Frederick County today hundreds of people performed acts of kindness. They handed out roses, bought other's dinner, coffee, drew pictures, brought goodies to the fire department, helped out friends, and many many more things. Tonight Alyssa decided to participate with me and started waving to everyone who drove by our house... lots of smiles from the neighbors :)
