We had a fantastic Father's Day this year! Well, at least I hope Aaron felt that way about it :) The day started with me hearing a little voice on the monitor yell "yes! it's father's day!" and then I heard little feet running down the hall towards our bed. At 6:30 am Will delivered his Father's Day gifts to Aaron. He made him a tool box with a flashlight in it at Home Depot, gave him two coffee mugs, and a Bonsai tree! (something Aaron has wanted for a long long time :) There were lots of snuggles and kisses and some tv time in bed before it was time to make Daddy breakfast. Will wanted to do it all himself, so Daddy had coffee and oatmeal in bed. Mommy had to help just a little bit with the prep, but most was done by the little guy. While we were all hanging out in bed, Will asked when kids day was since we had celebrate Mother's Day and Father's day already. Aaron and I both just laughed and resisted the temptation to tell him that every day was kids day :) After breakfast we all headed out to Aaron's softball games where we cheered on Aaron and all our friends on the team! Then we headed over to Glory Days for some lunch. All the guys sat at one end of the table and ordered tons of food... and the ladies sat at the other end with the kids and did a lot of wrangling while the guys enjoyed some piece and quiet... and some good beer :) I think it's safe to say Daddy had a good day. Presents, breakfast in bed, softball, and lunch out with good friends. Doesn't get much better than that... except maybe if I had bought him a new car :) haha.

I love love love this picture of the two of them!!
They read their nighttime story on the stairs that night because they wanted to watch the end of the US open but I didn't want Will to stay up any longer since he was so tired.
