This past weekend was the weekend I've been looking forward to for such a long time... Donna's Maryland workshop!! Donna and her daughter Katie arrived on Friday afternoon and we spent a nice relaxing Friday night eating pizza and chatting, and hanging out with our new friend Cheryl (one of the workshop participants). On Saturday all 6 of the workshop participants (several were my friends) arrived and we got down to the learning. Everyone spent the day helping each other out with their cameras and with how to shoot and where to shoot, and how to find the light. It was yet another fantastic workshop given by Donna! That evening Aaron grilled for us all and we all got to hang out and relax and chat about photography till late in the evening. Even Will stayed up and played with Katie and Piper till after 9 pm!! On Sunday we braved the chilly rain and headed out to Baker Park for a first ever Semenick family session! I was so bummed that the weather didn't cooperate, but I think Donna worked her magic and we are still going to have a ton of fantastic pictures to choose from. I can not wait to share our family session with everyone here!! I think I'm still exhausted from the weekend and still in recovery mode... but man, it was so worth it, and I'd do it again in a second!!
