Trick or treat!

We were a little worried this Halloween since Will was diagnosed with strep throat the day before... but he rallied and we were still able to celebrate with about half of our intended guests!  The kids really got into it this year, and needed no assistance when it came to running up to people's houses and getting candy.

We spent about an hour walking around the neighborhood trick or treating, and then all came back to the house to hang out.  On the way back to the house Will saw one of the dad's in our neighborhood dressed up in a full Spiderman costume and refused to leave his side since they were dressed the same.  Hysterical!

When we got  back to the house the guys went inside to trade the kids candy amongst themselves, and the ladies and kids hung out on the front porch and handed out candy to all the kids!  Piper, Jack, and Will were beyond cute and decided that they wanted to take over handing out the candy... and they did a great job!!

Once everyone left for the night we had a little downtime with Will hanging out in his tent in the playroom and making a "campfire" with all the glow sticks that were left behind.  It was so cute, he made a huge circle with glow sticks, then stuck several sticks in the middle declaring it his campfire.  Needless to say, we had to move the campfire to his bedroom floor where it stayed all night long  :)

What an amazing Halloween!  Hopefully next year we won't have any sickness and we'll actually get to hold the party!
