What beautiful weather we had for Easter Sunday! Dinner was originally supposed to be at our house, but we changed it to Mom and Dad's house so that Will could have a more adventuresome Easter egg hunt outside. I'm so glad we did, because he had a blast!! He opened presents, checked out his baskets, did chalk, bubbles, and had a blast hunting for his eggs all over the yard. I just can't believe how big he's getting and how much he understands now. We talked for weeks about the Easter bunny and about how he'd wake up on Easter morning and there would be a basket waiting for him with all kinds of goodies in it. He talked and talked about the Easter bunny each night before he went to sleep asking if this was the night he would come visit. When Easter morning came and he walked down the stairs I was thrilled to have caught his excitement on video. We just love these moments with him!
I am a former Elementary school teacher turned stay at home mom. I have an almost 8 year old son and 3 year old daughter who somehow manage to keep me busier than my class of 25 third graders ever did. I love reading, writing, and after purchasing my first Nikon SLR three years ago... have fallen in love with photography and now have a small photography business called Lollihop Photography. This blog is mainly about my little ones... but I occasionally get a word in here and there.
