Garden 2010

Last year we had a very very successful little garden that we planted in our backyard.  In lieu of all the success, we decided to plant one again this year! And guess what... it's going to be twice the size!  Will and I are both so excited to get the plants in the ground, watch them grow, and then harvest all the wonderful food from the plants.  But first, we had to start our seedlings.  Will and I took several trips to different stores in order to find all the seeds we needed to start our garden with.  This year we'll be growing: Zucchini, several different onions, watermelons, pumpkins, peppers, tomatoes, basil, carrots, sunflowers, cucumbers, green beans, and snap peas.  We planted some starter seeds together this past week.  I was able to snap a few pictures of him helping me plant before he started throwing seeds all over the kitchen  :)  And since I waited so long to post these pictures, I was able to snap one of our first sprouts!  It seems the Zucchini's can't wait to start growing this year!  They must know how much I love Zucchini cakes...
