It's been a long time since I've actually had a chunk of time available to sit down and update this blog. For awhile it became a chore for me to actually process pictures and post things on here because of how busy we've been the last few months. And I hate when it seems like a chore because I love taking pictures so darn much!
Aaron is finishing up a graduate class... and after this one will only have three more to go until he has his masters degree!! I've been doing 6-8 Partylite shows a month, keeping up with Will's activities, hanging out with family and friends, cooking, cleaning, and have finished over half of our Christmas shopping already!! I closed my very last Partylite show this past Monday, and am happy to report that I not only made my sales goal this month, I actually exceeded it by several hundred dollars! Thank you to all that held shoes, bought things, or helped me at the very last minute get the sales I needed to make my bonus. You all rock!!!
I can't wait to get all the Christmas decorations out and decorate this house. And I really can't wait to see how excited Will is when he sees everything up this year. I also can't wait to have some time to myself so I can start reading again, taking pictures, and get back to some blogging again. With Aaron being off for 5 days this Thanksgiving holiday, we managed to get a ton of stuff done. We've already gone through the entire back room in our basement and thrown away, donated, and organized everything in there. I organized my Partylite/scrapbooking/teaching room and everything now has a nice neat place to reside. We cleaned out our office and I have a giant stack of stuff to shred. I have all the Christmas cards addressed, and some outdoor projects completed. I even had some time to go through all the pictures I've taken over the last three weeks and organize them, process some of them, and get some blog posts together so that everyone can finally see some of the things our family has been up to this last month. Hopefully from now on out I can keep this thing updated on a regular basis again :)
A few weekends ago we went to a breakfast with Santa at Dad's work. It was a lot of fun for Will to sit on Santa's lap (he willingly sat), and we also got to see a dinosaur production as well! Will was thrilled with the dinosaur costumes and wanted to go up front and touch all of them. He did manage to get up there a few times and participate in the program. I only had to take him out once so we could discuss when it was appropriate to participate, and when he had to sit quietly and watch... not an easy conversation at 2.5 years of age, but he did pretty good!
