Wow, what a busy weekend! Playgrounds, airports, dinner outings, family, farms, and more playgrounds (coupled with the time change) have left our little nutter butter one tired little boy! I do have to say though, I think he had a blast! On Saturday my parents decided to take him to the airport in the afternoon to check out the planes since it was such a nice day. Will is in love with airpanes (airplanes). He loves looking up at the sky and trying to find them... and reach for them as he says. This is the first time Will has been to the airport, and I'm so glad that my parents got to take him first. The airport was my dad's special place to take my brother and I on the Saturdays that my mom worked while we were growing up. We used to go and watch the planes take off and land, and my dad would lift us up so we could touch the noses of the planes. We'd also always bring a snack of cheese nips, and my dad would get an orange soda out of the machine for all of us to share. Of course Will's first experience was no different. Being my child he already likes cheese nips so he loved sitting on the benches with Pappy and Grammy chowing down on some cheese nips... although the traditional orange soda is going to have to wait till he's a bit older... he had some water instead. After the airport they took him to the park, and then we all met up for dinner at Cracker Barrel (Will's favorite restaurant). I think it's safe to say Will had a very fun filled day!
