Visting Great Pappap in the nursing home

Almost two months, Pappap was diagnosed with a full body infection. With how bad his infection was upon arrival to the hospital, we are very lucky he is even with us today! He spend several days in the hospital, and had two surgeries... and then ended up in the nursing home where Nana used to be. I know it's not where he wants to be, but I'm happy he's getting the round the clock care he really needed. Plus, living at home till 91 is not too shabby if you ask me! We visited within the first week at the nursing home, and I think he was really excited to see the kids. Will made bracelets, and Alyssa chatted away to him. Even with his knee still in a lot of pain, he still made room for her to sit with him on his bed :) He is now in a different room, and has a roommate. We are excited to get up there again sometime soon to visit with Pappap again.
