Oh Christmas tree, Oh Christmas tree

Aaron and I used the after Thanksgiving weekend to get a jump on our Christmas decorating. We put up the two entryway trees outside our front door (thank you Beth for getting up at 3 am so you could grab us a box as well!), we hung pre-lit garland on all our banisters, put up the tree, decorated the mantel, and decorated the rest of the house with every unbreakable Christmas thing we had. My mantel isn't quite finished yet (I'm still waiting for a piece from Partylite to complete it), and we haven't decorated the tree yet, but we are well on our way to completing the decorating process. We do however have some confusing holidays out on our doorstep. About 2 feet away from the wreath and the trees you will find three large pumpkins that haven't found their way to the trash quite yet... they will be making their way to the curb on Wed. so we can finally declare that the Christmas season is here! I just love this time of year... I love all the music, the get togethers, and shopping for presents for the people we love. And this year is going to be extra special because it's the first year that Will is really going to understand the whole present thing. I can't wait to see his little face light up Christmas morning when he starts opening all his presents.... we might be spoiling him just a little bit :) Below are some pics of our house so far... I'll update as we finish more and more decorating.

Helping Daddy put up the tree

I can't wait to rip ornaments off this thing Mom!!!

Mesmerized by the lights

The tree waiting to get decorated... this will hopefully be the last year for the 6 foot tree... I'm trying to convince Aaron that we need a 10 footer since the room is 2-stories... we'll see how that goes...

My almost finished mantle... I am soooo excited about my mantle this year. I have always wanted a big wreath and a decorated mantle, and thanks to me getting 75% my entire order at Michaels the day after Thanksgiving, it's happening this year!!
