Greenbriar Park

This past Tuesday we headed up to Greenbriar Park with our LGSC (Little Gym Splinter Cell group). We all figured that the kids wouldn't want to swim since it was a little chilly outside, so we planned to just have them play in the sand and on the playground... but of course my little boy decided that he indeed wanted to swim, and led the way for all the kids to join him in the water. As it turned out, the water was not cold at all, and the kids ended up really enjoying themselves splashing around in the water and getting completely drenched. All the rest of Will's friends were quite content to just hang out in the water that was up to their knees, but not my child. Will walked straight into the water and kept going till he reached the buoy on the rope and he couldn't go any further... which ended up to be right up to his neck. He's such a little adventurer, always willing to try new things and push the limits to see what he can learn and accomplish. I think we all enjoyed Greenbriar and it will definatly be added to our list for next years playgroup ideas.

Checking out the buoy....mmm... how can I get past these things Mama???
