Nature center

This morning Will and I went over to the Fountain Rock Park Nature Center for the very first get together of our newly formed playgroup. A bunch of us moms from little gym decided that we had so much fun hanging out together on Thursdays, that we should also hang out another day of the week too!

The nature center we went to today was really cool. They have two ponds, one of which usually has geese, and the other has a lot of fish and turtles. Will was in love with the pond that had the fish and turtles, as were the other little ones in the group, and enjoyed feeding them the little food pellets we bought out of the machine. We saw some geese on the path we were on and Will wanted to run up to them like he does the ducks when he sees them, but they weren't too thrilled and ended up hissing in the direction of the kids... so we quickly left that area and left them in peace.

After the pond, we headed over to the large playground where Will had a snack with his friends, and enjoyed sliding and climbing around the apparatus. He even got to hang out with a turtle and take a little ride on his back!

Mandy can hold on to this zip line all by herself while her mom pushes her... and she's only 14 months old!!!
