What a wonderful 4th of July weekend we had! Aaron had a 4 day weekend, so we got in lots of family time, errands, golfing, softball playing, picnics, and a little bit of sleeping here and there. On the 4th we headed over to my new friend Spring's house to hang out with her and her husband and daughter McKenzie. McKenzie and Will play together a lot during the week and were quite excited to play together again on Friday. We had a wonderful barbecue, and the kids even got to play outside in the pool and on the slip and slide even though it was raining. Will fell in love with Spring's lemonade while he was over and probably drank his weight in it. And then after dinner we gave the kids each a cupcake for a snack, and between the lemonade and the cupcake, I think they both had a pretty nice sugar rush and they had a good time running off their energy outside in the evening. Will made it till 8 that evening and promptly came home and crashed in his crib for the next 12 hours. I do believe we might have to picnic more often!!

Evan leaves her alone for one minute and Will moves in!!! That's ok...Evan will work on her tomorrow!! AND he has a proximity advantage!!
