Disney!! {Day 7 and 8 Epcot}

What another awesome two days! Perfect weather again!  We were a little nervous about these days since everything I had been reading about Epcot had said how boring it can be for kids.  We were pleasantly surprised to find that Will was super interested in everything we did, and we all had a blast!

We headed into the park early and went straight to Sum of all thrills.  It's a ride that isn't widely known... but it's awesome!  Essentially you go in and can construct your own roller coaster with the computer.  Then, they load your creation into the system and you get to virtually ride what you have created!  Will wasn't tall enough to go upside down, but we built a really cool ride nonetheless.

Epcot is a really cool place to be if you are a Disney Visa card holder.  They have a special character meet and greet, a lounge with free drinks and snacks, and you also get a special viewing area for fireworks!

We walked around for a bit checking out Nemo and some other small exhibits and rides... and then headed on over to Test Track with our fast passes.  Here you essentially do the same thing as Sum of all thrills, except it's a car instead.  Will thought this was super cool and this was a great ride!  We also did Spaceship Earth during this time as well.

Lunch was at Coral Reef where we got to eat amongst the giant aquariums filled with fish, sea turtles and sharks!  It was a cool place, but the food was eh... so I probably wouldn't go back again.  We rounded out our fast passes with Soarin... which I wasn't too impressed with either... but Will loved!!

Now on to the part Aaron and I were super excited about... Food and Wine!!  We headed over to the World Showcase where they have all the tapas style dishes and drink samples.  We had planned to spend the rest of the day there eating and drinking and checking out each country as we went.  We were concerned about Will's interest, but he had a blast!!  I think we spent about 2 hours in the Japanese store... and I'm not sure who was worse... Aaron or Will!  We had activated Will's magic band with our credit card, so he thought he was hot stuff using his band to buy whatever he wanted.

Aaron and I were able to try a bunch of different tapas, and sample a bunch of different drinks... my favorite was the italian bellini, and all the awesome Reislings!  We got Will one of the Phineas and Ferb phones, so for each country we went to he had a mission he had to complete.  The phone sends you around to various buildings in each country and has you look for certain clues.  He had a blast doing this!

For dinner that evening Aaron and I decided to keep trying the tapas... and we had planned on getting Will fish and chips... while I stood in line for fish and chips, Aaron stood in line with Will to meet Alice in Wonderland close by.  There wasn't good seating outside... so we ended up heading into the English pub next to us... I am pretty sure this was the highlight of Will's evening... as you can see from the giant smile on his face while he ate his fish and chips  :)  They had a piano player and everyone was loud and singing and having a great time.

After dinner we walked around some more, then headed over to our reserved spot for the fireworks.  The fireworks honestly were not that impressive... and I don't know that we would stay for them again.

Tomorrow will be a half day at Hollywood Studios, followed by a half day at Epcot.
