Disney!! {Day 5- Animal Kingdom and Cruise}

Animal Kingdom day! This was another early morning for us with an 8 am breakfast at Tusker House. This was a character breakfast where we got to meet Goofy and friends! The chef here was also amazing and made Will his food fresh instead of having us go through the buffet line for him. We ate and got out of there quick so we could head right over to the Safari ride. If you get on it first thing, you don't have to waste a fast pass, and more animals are out in the morning!

After the Safari, we decided to walk around a bit and check things out. Animal Kingdom is HUGE... and we didn't see even half of it. We decided that we would skip most of the animals since that was something we could do at a local zoo back home and focus on shows and rides. We rode Expedition Everest a few times... Mommy almost threw up on the last time since the roller coaster goes backwards as the Yeti chases you out of his cave.

Then we went on the Dinosaur ride... there is a lot of hype about this ride, but honestly, none of us were impressed. We spent some time in the Boneyard playing, and then headed over to check out the carnival area. We bought some tickets for Will to play games... and he won every single time!! Which meant we ended up with LOTs of stuffed animals. There was a point in our trip where there were so many stuffed animals in Will's bed that you couldn't find him.

We ate a quick lunch at Flametree barbecue... which was amazing! And then headed over to the Lion King show. The show was fantastic, and made me wish we had seen the Nemo show as well. Next time!

This day was also our Pirate Cruise day so we headed out around 4:30 to go have dinner at Kona, and then head on over to the Pirate fireworks cruise. The cruise was awesome!! We started off with a dessert party (they had gotten my request to have something there for Will), and with meeting some characters. Then we boarded our boat for our cruise into the Lagoon to view the Wishes fireworks! The two guys leading the tour were hilarious. They cracked jokes and did trivia with the kids and everyone won prizes. The fireworks were great... and when we got off the boat we were met by Peter Pan! Will was about done at this point, and was not too thrilled with Peter Pan being so close to his face. Right after we left he told me how bad Peter's breath smelled. LOL!

This was another late night for us... day 6 would be another relaxing day at Magic Kingdom.
