Butterfly release 2013!

This year was a big year for us with insect release... ladybugs, butterflies, then praying mantis! Butterflies are always one of my favorites... and this year was no disappointment! I believe we got to see two of the butterflies break out of their chrysalis's this year! Will wasn't too happy we had to release them, but he knew it was time for them to go. It's always fun watching them fly out of the habitat... this year we had a couple that ended up landing in the grass so Will was able to pick them up and have them on his hand for a little while. He tried to hand one off to Alyssa but the butterfly ended up flying down onto her face... she was not thrilled with this :) Butterfly's are something we look forward to each and every year!
