Pandamania VBS

Last week was MUMC's VBS! The theme was Pandamania... which Will thought was Kung Fu Panda when he walked in the first day :) It was a little bit of a rough start for Will... there were a ton of kids, and honestly... the thing wasn't as organized as I would have hoped it would be. I think he was overwhelmed with the singing, dancing, and 150 kids in one room... I know I was at least! But he settled in... and the teacher's did a really good job of making him feel comfortable. He also had 3 kids from preschool in his group, so that helped too. One thing they did when he got upset was pair him up with a middle school boy... which he LOVED! Nathan staying with him on and off through the whole week and kept him happy, and helped him follow directions and participate. These pictures are from the final day when we got to come in and see the singing and dancing at the end of the day... and we got to have a picnic in the cafeteria with all the kids!
