Will's birthday with Mommy and Daddy

This is the first of many birthday posts to come  :)  I think it's safe to say Will had a blast for his 4th birthday.  Unfortunately some of Will's presents from Mommy and Daddy were not a surprise on his actual birthday because some little man went snooping a few mornings before his birthday and found a few of them  :)  I woke up on Friday morning and found him in the guest bedroom closet checking out the presents we had wrapped in bags.  When I asked him what he was doing he replied "Checking out my new birthday toys!"  Well, at least he was honest  :)  The morning of his birthday he was up bright and early and ran into our room announcing that he had woken up and was now 4!!  And then promptly asked if he could open his presents... soooo, we opened presents at 7:30 am... before eating breakfast.  Will was thrilled with all his Star Wars gear and couldn't wait to open all the packages to play with everything.  It took him a little bit to warm up to his new bike... he wasn't so sure about it because it was so much bigger than his first bike.  Once he took it for a spin around the house though, he decided it was a good fit for him  :)  We had such a nice day with him... we spent the morning hanging out as a family, and then spent the afternoon and evening with the extended family... more on the family party later!
