Our garden has been flourishing this year! We planted green beans, snap peas, tomatoes, watermelon, zucchini, red and white onions, and a ton of basil! We've had a blast taking care of our little garden and harvesting the crops every other day. Will's favorite thing to pick are tomatoes... and he has loved watching the watermelon grow. Last week we picked our very first watermelon (a little too early), and also a giant zucchini! I just had to take pictures of the zucchini because of its incredible size. I think Will is very proud of his produce :) The first picture has nothing to do with the garden, but it's cute... this is from right after he got back from the Home Depot workshop. He had made a pencil holder with Pappy and Grammy :)
I am a former Elementary school teacher turned stay at home mom. I have an almost 8 year old son and 3 year old daughter who somehow manage to keep me busier than my class of 25 third graders ever did. I love reading, writing, and after purchasing my first Nikon SLR three years ago... have fallen in love with photography and now have a small photography business called Lollihop Photography. This blog is mainly about my little ones... but I occasionally get a word in here and there.
