4th of July!

I know, it's been forever... we've had a lot going on over here... too much to write about right now, so I'm just going to get straight on into posting and finally catching up on pictures.  I have about 10 back posts to do, and about 500 pictures to go through and edit.  Maybe I'll get all caught up one of these days soon!!  haha.  

Well, I guess this really wasn't 4th of July... but it's going to have to do because instead of enjoying the festivities on the 4th, Aaron and I were stuck at home with sinus infections.  Thankfully my parents came over and took Will out for a few hours so we could rest.  I spent the evening laying in bed listening to our crazy neighbors set off fireworks into the corn field... and Aaron sat on the back patio and made sure our house didn't catch on fire.  How's that for a fun 4th!! haha.  The day before the 4th though we headed over to mom and dad's for dad's annual fireworks display in the backyard.  Will made a lot of progress this year and actually came outside for the last 10 minutes of the show!!  After it was all over he ran over to Pappy and told him "I'm so proud of you Pappy, you did such a good job with the fireworks!" Then he wanted to run around the yard with the flashlight.  That night he didn't get to bed until almost midnight!  It was a very interesting day the next day with all that missed sleep... but he thoroughly enjoyed himself and that's all that matters  :)

These are the baby birds newly hatched from the nest inside my parents hibiscus tree on their patio.  The tree only stands about 5 feet tall, and is not very large... yet the birds seem to like making nests in them nonetheless!
