A few weekends back, my dad and I did a photography "workshop" down in Havre de Grace, MD. We went to Conowingo Dam to photograph Bald Eagles with the wonderful people from Tamaron. We were able to borrow all kinds of lenses from Tamaron and try them all out for free. The workshop was very poorly planned and run, and the day was cold and wet, but it was really really cool to see Bald Eagles out in the wild! Strangely I think my favorite pictures are the two I took of the trees in the woods :)
I am a former Elementary school teacher turned stay at home mom. I have an almost 8 year old son and 3 year old daughter who somehow manage to keep me busier than my class of 25 third graders ever did. I love reading, writing, and after purchasing my first Nikon SLR three years ago... have fallen in love with photography and now have a small photography business called Lollihop Photography. This blog is mainly about my little ones... but I occasionally get a word in here and there.
