This past weekend we officially celebrated Will's 3rd birthday. He had a big party with all his friends and family a couple of weeks ago with his best buddy Chase. He had a blast at that firehouse party (pictures to come... between Jessica and I there were about 600 plus photos I'm still sifting through), but it was really nice to celebrate his "actual" birthday with a small get together. Aaron and I kept it light with the gifts this year seeing as how he has every toy in toys r' us already :) We bought him his first bike, a new pool for the backyard, and some toys for the new pool. We had some issues putting together his bike and had to head to toys r' us the morning of his birthday to exchange it for a new one, but as you can see in the pictures, that little delay didn't stop him from learning how to ride it that very morning. We had a very nice morning just hanging out, riding his bike, and eating donuts together. In the afternoon we had everyone come over for presents and cake. Will got some really awesome new toys and is very very excited to learn to roller skate... me, I'm not so excited about that. All in all I think Will had a wonderful birthday celebration... just check out that last picture of him shoving cake in his mouth... how could he not be excited about that?!?
I am a former Elementary school teacher turned stay at home mom. I have an almost 8 year old son and 3 year old daughter who somehow manage to keep me busier than my class of 25 third graders ever did. I love reading, writing, and after purchasing my first Nikon SLR three years ago... have fallen in love with photography and now have a small photography business called Lollihop Photography. This blog is mainly about my little ones... but I occasionally get a word in here and there.
