Our puppy turned 5 on St. Patrick's Day! Aaron and I can't believe that it's been 5 years since we picked up Dublin from the breeders and took him home for the first time. We think we got the pick of the litter that day, but we might be a little partial :) Dubs is such an awesome dog. He loves to cuddle... maybe a little too much at 2 am... is amazing with kids, and is just over all a very chill dog. We went to Petsmart with Will the week before to pick out some presents for Dublin's birthday... Aaron and I picked out a giant rope ball, and Will chose a squeaky football for him. The football is not pictured because there was a fight between Will and Dublin as to who's football it really was... Dublin won. Will and I also wanted to do something extra special for our pup so we baked some homemade dog treats for his special day. Dublin loved the treats, and I think Will was thrilled that he had a hand in making them :) Happy Birthday Dublin!! Your family loves you!!!
** Don't mind that last picture at the bottom, I made homemade au gratin potatoes that night for dinner and they looked so darn good!**
I am a former Elementary school teacher turned stay at home mom. I have an almost 8 year old son and 3 year old daughter who somehow manage to keep me busier than my class of 25 third graders ever did. I love reading, writing, and after purchasing my first Nikon SLR three years ago... have fallen in love with photography and now have a small photography business called Lollihop Photography. This blog is mainly about my little ones... but I occasionally get a word in here and there.
