The haircut of all haircuts

Yesterday evening right before the snow started, we took Will for another haircut. Anyone who knows Will, knows the difficulties we've had with haircuts in the past... screaming, kicking, vomiting... and so on. Well, for the last few haircuts, Will has done very very well... sitting on Daddy's lap, chatting with Ms. Larissa who cuts his hair, and singing songs for all the other people in the shop getting their hair done (we live in a small town... it's all good). Well, yesterday you would have thought we brought a totally different kid with us. He told us that he wanted to sit all by himself in the chair, and proceeded to run right up to Ms. Larissa and tell her. She put the board on the chair, lifted him up, wrapped the cape around him, and that was that. He sat through the entire haircut all by himself. I am so happy I chose last night to take my camera with me because I was able to capture this incredible moment that has been over 2 years in the making! He is growing up so much these days. Between sitting by himself for his haircut (yeah, I know, not that big of a deal), to sleeping in a big boy bed, to potty training, he's growing into a little boy right before my eyes! Where did my little toddler go???
