Semenick family: Happy New Year!!

Yep, this is a couple of weeks late... but I'm still playing catch up and trying to go through all the pictures on the computer so Aaron can back them all up on our external hard drive. I don't realize how many pictures I actually take until I have to sit down and go through them all :)

We had a wonderful New Years Eve spent with many good friends :) Will got to hang out and play with his friends Piper and McKenzie, and we even got to sing Happy Birthday to sweet Piper who's birthday was on the 1st. Our friends Mike and Gina (who are due to deliver their first baby in April) stayed the night with us and we had a blast playing Wii all night, toasting the new year together, and talking about what awesome things 2010 will bring for our families.

I've done some thinking about resolutions for the New Year (I know lots of people make them each year), but I don't think I'm going to make any this year. Aaron and I really focused on what was best for our family this past year, always looking towards the future and were constantly setting goals for ourselves. And because of our hard work last year, we are going to reach one of our goals in just a few short months. In a few short months, we will be free of credit card debt... for good!!

I think goal setting worked well for our family last year, so that's what we're going to do this year... no resolutions, just goals. Our goals this year are to pay off the SUV and declare ourselves officially debt free (except for our mortgage payment). For Aaron to finish his masters degree with a 4.0 GPA, and to continue to spend quality time together and grow as a family. 2009 was a great year, but we are so excited to see what 2010 will bring to our little family :)

Pushing Addison in the swing... he'd play for a minute, come back and push her gently, and then go play again. It was so darn cute!

Will ringing in the new year a little early

We all sang Happy birthday to Piper since her birthday is on the 1st, and after she blew out the candle Will and Mckenzie were upset... so we relite the candle so each child had a turn.
