Jumbos

Yes yes, I know I have been neglecting the blog again... but I have good reason! We've been out enjoying all of this fall frigid weather and hanging out at just about every pumpkin patch we can find! A couple weekends ago we headed out to Jumbos pumpkin patch to pick our pumpkins for the front porch. I think Will was more excited about the tractors and hayrides than he was about the pumpkins, but he humored us and walked around the patch a little bit before attempting to catch a ride with a tractor back to the activities. In true Aaron form, he managed to scour the patch for the strangest looking pumpkin ever. And let me tell you... he found it!! When we brought it back to be measured for pricing, the guy had no idea what to charge us for it. When we got to the cashier, she called one of the owners out and she was so amazed we found something like that in her patch that she gave us the giant pumpkin for 7 bucks! She also declared it the most interesting pumpkin ever found at their farm (they've been open for 15 years). Way to go baby!! Not sure how Aaron is going to top that one next year... haha.

Will was very concerned the tractor wasn't going to come back for him

Walking through the patch... his has a new love of pockets, so his hands are always in his pockets

No pics Mama!

Happy Birthday Jumbos!

This a series I took of the sunset that evening... it was amazing!! I kept having to jump up from dinner every 5 or so minutes because the colors would change. This is why I love living in the country!!
