Pumpkin patch

This past Monday afternoon, Jess and I took the kids over to Jumbo's farm to do some pumpkin picking and exploring. It turns out we were the very first pumpkin pickers of the season for their farm!! This year they planted a field within walking distance of their barn so the kids had a great time riding in the wagon's up to the pumpkin field. They got to walk through a little corn maze that lead to the pumpkin field, and then had a blast walking through and exploring the fields. We didn't actually pick any big pumpkins that afternoon since we weren't sure they'd last till Halloween, but we did get some small pumpkins and also some goards. I think this might be a trip we take a few more times before Halloween hits!

I love when the corn turns this color! I'm thinking of hoping the fence into the corn field behind my back yard so I can take more pictures

Exploring

There were lots of bumpy pumpkins this year... I think I might have to get one of those

I couldn't believe they actually put their heads through at the same time!
