State police open house

Wow, what an awesome trip this was! Our local state police headquarters has an open house every so often and our cub scout den attended. This was the coolest thing... we were about the only ones there, and we got to see the command center for all the 911 calls... meet a lot of the officers, check out a police motorcycle land, watch the helicopter land (about 40 yards from us), and see police dog demonstrations. We were planning on staying an hour, but stayed much much longer. Alyssa even got to high 5 Mcgruff the Crime dog.   The paper was there right in the beginning and took some shots of the boys, and also took a statement from Will and I.  So we made the paper the very next day!
