Car wash with the boy scouts

This was our very first car wash with the boy scouts... and to say the kids had fun would be a total understatement. By the end of the wash, Jeremy was literally standing behind Will just spraying him down with the hose. I'm lucky I brought a change of clothes.  I was on money collection duty, and child wrangling duty.  During my time there,  I met a very nice older gentlemen who did not want his car washed, but wanted to donate $5 to our scouts.  I had a small chat with him and found out that he was a scout before the war broke out.  He said that he really liked it, but that he had been upset because he never got his badge.  I'm kicking myself right now for not getting his information and sending him a badge.  How cool would that have been!  I complain a lot about my community... but it's times like these that I am thankful for how small our town is.
