It's carnival time again! This was another great year at the Walkersville carnival. The kids rode, played games, and won a fish! This was the first year Alyssa could really ride rides.... and man did she love it! I think she would have stayed till midnight riding if we would have let her. Will on the other hand, is an old hat at this, and was ready to play games and head home by about 8 pm. We capped the fish game at $5 and said if you win you win, and if you don't you don't. And you guessed it, he won! I'm not too thrilled about having to take care of another living thing in this house. But the look on his face when he won was just priceless. I do have to say... so far he's been in charge of feeding, and he's doing pretty good! I'm in charge of bowl changes, and so far according to Will, I'm falling down on my job :)
We took a trip to Dutch Wonderland before the carnival, so my kids have become little daredevils. You can see Will sitting in the back of the rollercoaster with his hands up! He sits in the back now because he knows it's the fastest place to sit. Even Alyssa put her hands up at one point. Yikes! I also ended up running into a few people from school. Kim Beard was there with her little girl who is only a few weeks younger than Alyssa. They ended up on the exact same car on one of the rides, so I was able to snag a little picture of the two of them :)
