Strawberry picking {2014}

Strawberry picking is always one of my favorite things to do with the kids. This year we were actually able to pick a few strawberries out of our very own strawberry patch. Thanks to my friend Jana who gave us some of her plants last year. The plants have done amazingly well, and have tripled in size already! They are shooting sprouts all over the place, and we should have even more plants coming up next year. I would love to have our very own patch! This year I took Alyssa with me to pick strawberries... she wasn't too interested in the picking, but she followed closely with her bucket and very much enjoyed eating the berries we picked.
