Swimming

My son has become quite the little fish these past few weeks. We started swimming lessons again about a month ago, and he has gone from a kid who wanted Mama to hold on to him even when he had his floats on, to a kid who wants nothing to do with Mama in the pool but instead wants me to let him go to swim on his own. About three weeks ago he realized that he could float in the pool with his wings on by himself, then the next week he learned how to tread water a little bit, and now this week he is full fledged on his belly kicking those legs and moving his arms (as much as he can with wings on) and swimming towards all the toys in the water. It is so amazing to me how quickly he learns new things. We will be continuing swimming lessons all through the winter with him, and I'm hoping that by this summer, he will only need a float on his back, or just the water wings to swim with. Thanks to Jessica and Art both being at swimming lessons today, Jess was able to take a video of my cutie swimming today. There are also some crazy cute pics of Piper and Will together all dressed in their swim gear... but I have to wait for Jess to email those to me... so in the meantime, enjoy the video of Will swimming!
