Green Meadows Petting Farm

Today for our LGSC we headed over to the Green Meadows Petting Farm. We were the first people to arrive at the farm for the morning and somehow managed to score ourselves a tour guide for the petting farm who let us go in all the pens, shared lots of info. with us, and even let the kids milk cows! Our tour guide was awesome, and we all had a blast at this place. Will even got to go on a hayride (which is his new favorite thing to do this fall) and pick a pumpkin before he left. He also got a tractor toy that he had been eyeing from the second we got there and I told him if he was good he could have it... and he was great throughout the tour so he earned it!... although that didn't stop him from tantruming before the tour started because he was upset that I wasn't getting it for him immediately... but he'll learn. I took a ton of pics at this place so this is going to be a big picture post so bear with me!

Will chasing the turkeys around the pen

Hello chickens!

Jamie, Will, and Evan all helping feed the goats with the help of Sam

Feeding his little goat friends... I love the second picture, he looks so focused on feeding

Milking a cow!! How cool is that??

Wake-up Mr. Kangaroo

Those baby ducks saw our kids coming from a mile away... don't worry, they were actually very gentle with them

Very gently petting the baby chick...

And then Spring held the baby duck out for him to pet and he went to grab the poor things head... we might have to change his name to Lenny... hehe

McKenzie looks so excited about that little duck... what do you think Spring... will Steve allow a real duck in the bathtub??

Evan and Will being silly together. I couldn't believe I actually got them to do it at the same time!

Four of our little ones on hay bails... out of about 20 pictures this is the best I got. It is soooo hard to get those guys to all look up at the same time!!

Hey Ma, I'm falling off this thing.... a little help over here?

Mandy and Deb enjoying the hayride

Our group hanging out on the hayride

Inspecting the pumpkins

He walked through the entire group of pumpkins...
