My morning was going very well... until the nice workers who were demolishing the floor in my master bathroom came and got me out of the playroom to tell me we had a big problem. Below was the big problem
Oh yes folks, after ripping up all of the tile, and the plywood in the bathroom... they got down to the sub-floor and found what I was promised we wouldn't find... serious water damage and the beginnings of mold. It was all I could do to not just start freaking out right then and there in front of these poor tile guys... who in their defense, had no idea what I had been through leading up to this point. So now instead of having the grouting done Tuesday, and the toilet replaced on Wed. we will be having sub-floor fixed today, tile on Friday, grouting Monday, and the toilet put in Tuesday of next week... that is if they don't find more water damage today when they take out the sub-floor. And all of this because the stupid tile company that Pulte homes works with couldn't manage to get our tile in in a timely fashion... and by timely fashion, I mean in under 6 months. All of this could have been avoided if the grouting and tile would have been fixed back in April when I told them there was a problem. I am soooooo not happy with this situation. I wonder if I can get Pulte to give me some prepaid gas cards for the inconvenience...
Stay tuned for pictures of my hopefully soon to be brand new non-mildewed and water damaged tile floor.

By the way...how is your potty? In it's proper place now? And I wonder if Pulte homes will still be in business when you are finished with them? :)
