Tonight we headed over to the Frederick fairgrounds for their Oktoberfest. We're never sure how Will will do in crowded places, but he once again delivered a wonderfully well behaved evening for us... thank goodness! We started out the evening with a first ever pony ride for Will. We weren't sure if he'd get on and stay on, but I figured why not try... and he did great!! He went around twice, and let the girls hold on to him while the pony walked. He's getting to be such a big boy!! After the ride, we all headed into the hall for some good local beer and some dinner. Aaron got a German platter and I got a hotdog. Of course Will wanted nothing to do with my hotdog, but everything to do with Aaron's sauerkraut and sausages. He's so funny about food... he'll try and eat almost anything we give him. After dinner the boys went to go try some more beers, and big Mike took Will for a walk and ended up getting him a balloon. Will LOVED playing with that balloon and loved it even more when he realized that he could hit Daddy in the face with it. But everyone knows my extreme dislike and fear of balloons... so of course that thing was not coming home in the car with us, so we all said good-bye to the balloon as we left it go and watched it be carried away up into the sky while Will pointed and waved bye-bye to it. And yes I know, letting balloons go is bad for the environment and all that stuff... but seriously, it was either the balloon being let go, or me having a panic attack in the car on the way home... forgive me for choosing my sanity :)

Will is such a big boy. I love how he got on the pony; we tried it with Piper, but she refused. He amazes me with how fearless and outgoing he is! He's just like his mama and dada!
