A morning at home

We don't usually do the whole hang around the house thing very often... and after being at home all morning yesterday morning, I remember why we don't. Trying to pass the hours from the time he wakes up, to the time he goes down for a nap is almost impossible to do hanging around the house. Yesterday we had to stay home so a few contractors could come over and do some work in the house, and I was so hoping that this would be a morning that Will would sleep in late... but alas it seems he's back on his usual schedule and is now waking at the normal 7 am. instead of the 9 am he was doing a week or so ago. We watched some veggitales, played upstairs, played downstairs, went for a walk, went to the swings, dealt with the contractors, and Will even played in the bathtub with his clothes on! Our usual mornings consist of playdates, errands, little gym, or swimming lessons and I am so looking forward to having a normal morning out of the house routine starting again with Will mid next week. Monday thru Wednesday of next week we'll be stuck at home again for more contract work, and I think both Will and I couldn't be less excited about it all. Let's hope that Mommy doesn't lose her mind having to be stuck in the house for the next few days!! Here are some pics from our morning together...

Building his towers of blocks

Very excited about knocking them down after they are built

Tickling tickle me cookie monster

Very very upset that Mama took cookie monster away to reset him. He thinks that if he pressed his belly 500 times in a row that will make him just keep giggling... but in fact it overloads the thing and then I have to reset him. He is furiously signing "more" while screaming his head off at me in this picture

All better instantly when cookie monster returned to his little hands

Hanging out in the tub with his clothes on drawing with his bathtub crayons... he crawled in there by himself while I was cleaning up his playroom

I absolutely love the screaming and signing more pic! I just think about seeing that in action and want to crack up laughing. I know it definitely wasn't funny for him, but the idea is hilarious!
