Surgery

Thanks to everyone that thought about me, prayed for me, or offered support to me and my family these last couple of days, and will offer support these next several days to follow. My surgery went well and I have really felt pretty good... just a little bit sore. I am definitely not enjoying not being able to lift Will and cuddle with him. I think the hardest thing has been not being able to put him to bed at night, and judging from the crying, he's not too thrilled that Mommy isn't reading books with him and putting him to night night these last two nights either. Hopefully I will start feeling better in the next few days and I'll be able to start putting my little man to bed in the evenings.

The doctor said that the tumor looks to be a fibroadenoma which are benign, but I will get my official pathology report back most likely by the middle of this coming week. We are optimistic that it is actually a fibroadenoma because before the surgery he said he wouldn't tell us anything, just that it went well, so we feel pretty convinced that it is benign since he made a point of telling us what he thought it was once he removed it. I'll update again once I get my report back to let everyone know that everything turned out ok.

We are so grateful that we have such amazing friends and family that are always willing to lend us a helping hand whether it be through prayers, watching Will, or offering to feed us. Thanks again to all the wonderful people in our lives!!
