Little helper

My little boy is such a big helper around the house these days. Each time I go to clean something whether it be dusting, vacuuming, or swiffering the floors, he is right there beside me "helping." He loves to stand right beside me as I vacuum, or move his and the doggy's toys out of the way as I come near (I think he's secretly afraid the vacuum is going to eat them). Lately instead of getting frustrated with the swiffer mop because I won't let him do it by himself, he politely holds on to the lower part of the handle and walks along with me as I swiffer the wood floors. Today was no different when I brought out the cleaning tools, but he added something new into the mix... climbing! He's never really been interested in the dinner table chairs.. but maybe that's because they are always pushed into the table... but anyway, today he decided that climbing up and down off of them would be great fun while I was trying to clean. He can figure out how to do something new in matter of seconds it seems these days. As soon as he puts his mind to it, he's accomplished it. Of course each time he made it up onto the chair I had to stop cleaning and sit down next to him to make sure he didn't fall face first onto the wood floors, but that's ok, I didn't really want to clean the floors anyway!!
