Haircut from hell

Well, the last several days have been complete chaos in our house. Aaron, Will, and I have been going so many different directions between playgroups, classes, girls night out dinners, and sporting events, oh and who could forget the painting going on in our house! I am hoping after this week things will slow down at least a little bit for us. The painting was finally completed today and the painters are out of my house for good!! I can't wait to clean when the little guy wakes up from his nap and then put all the furniture back and the things back on the walls. The entire main level of the house is now finished, which means that we can move on to the bedrooms upstairs... but I think that's going to have to wait a little while since I think Aaron and I are about sick of dealing with paint for the time being.

Now on to the reason why I'm posting... In this week of craziness, I decided to take Will yesterday for a much needed haircut. I usually let it get really long before I take him because he HATES getting his hair cut. Well yesterday was no different. He instantly flips out as soon as someone comes at his head with anything. He hates having his face wiped, hair combed, and his hair cut. I have to hold him down while the woman attempts to cut his hair as he thrashes around in my lap. He was especially bad yesterday, so bad that he got so upset after only 3 minutes in the chair and threw up all over me, and then it took 20 minutes for her to cut his hair because of all his thrashing, and it still doesn't look at all that great. I really can't blame the poor girl though, at one point she was trying to cut it while he was almost upside down in my arms. Aaron and I are really debating whether or not shaving his head for the summer might be a good call... ok, maybe not, but this is getting ridiculous. If only you could reason with a one year old!!!

The king of silly camera faces

So uneven... I must fix this child's hair soon!
