Tonight we had Will's favorite meal... marinated grilled chicken with potatoes and a new favorite, corn on the cob. Tonight he ate probably about as much chicken as I ate for dinner, and after he was done he decided that he wanted my corn on the cob. I gave him a few tries at biting mine, but he didn't want mine, he wanted his own. So Aaron (not liking corn) graciously gave him his entire piece of corn. Will was so cute with the cob. He started out taking licks of it, and saying yum with each lick, then after I taught him how to bite it, he was actually able to take some nice little rabbit looking bites out his cob. It just keeps amazing me how much this little man enjoys trying new things all the time, and how quickly he learns.
I am a former Elementary school teacher turned stay at home mom. I have an almost 8 year old son and 3 year old daughter who somehow manage to keep me busier than my class of 25 third graders ever did. I love reading, writing, and after purchasing my first Nikon SLR three years ago... have fallen in love with photography and now have a small photography business called Lollihop Photography. This blog is mainly about my little ones... but I occasionally get a word in here and there.
