Semenick family: Birthday in PA

This past Wednesday, we took Will up to the nursing home for his birthday celebration in PA. Will had a great time, and of course was spoiled with attention and gifts. We started out the day stopping off at my grandparents and aunt's house. Will's Great Aunt Linda had been given a swing for her birthday that she could swing Will in, so we had to stop off there to try it out. He had a blast swinging, petting the dog, and of course running all around in the grass and trying to pull daffodils out of the ground. After stopping at the house, we headed over to the nursing home to hang out, have lunch, and open presents with Will's Great Nana and Pappap. Nana had no idea Will was coming for his party that day, so it was really nice to surprise her with him! Lunch was great, Great Aunt Linda had ordered cupcakes for the entire dining room, and everyone sang happy birthday to him after lunch was over. Will even had some extra guests join his celebration which was awesome! Becky came out to visit, Stacy and Camden, Amanda, Barb, and Barb's mom all came out, and Linda's friend Mary came out to help us celebrate as well. It was so nice to see everyone, and Will had a great time playing with Camden who he hadn't seen for months! Will of course made his rounds through the home hamming it up for anyone who was interested in chatting with him. He loves going to the home because there is so much space for him to run around, he loves the pet birds they have, and everyone tells him how darn cute he is all the time. I think Great Nana enjoys showing him off as well :) At the end of our visit, Will found the piano in the corner and decided to play everyone a little tune. Needless to say, it amounted to some banging, but Mr. Musical was so happy with himself and wouldn't stop grinning the entire time he played.
